La zymase, enzyme hétérogène (...), se compose de deux fractions, l'une thermolabile et colloïdale, la protéine, l'autre thermostable et diffusible dans l'eau, la coenzyme (Hist. gén. sc., t. 3, vol. 2, 1964, p. 614).
Prononc.:[], [--]. Étymol. et Hist. 1905 (R. gén. des sc., n° 6, p. 293 d'apr. ROB. 1985). Formé de l'élém. formant thermo- et de labile. Cf. l'angl. thermolabile att. en 1904 (NED).
